"This story didnt have a happy ending..."

"The hero doesn't walk away into the horizon triumphant and confident in his successive one man army go notion bad arse kill all feel good attitude, no instead i die here."

"Sure fighting through all of NeoPrak's rag tag hired gun mercs, genocidal sociopathic cultists, murderous genestructured hypersapien experiments, and snooty privateer security rent a cop military felt like an accomplishment...but was it worth having to find out that it was my very own flesh has betrayed me?"

"On the other side of a pane glasgow window, across an atrium of the golden laced porcelain marble mold columns, and spatial depth ridden tiles all neatly placed upon a white staircase aperture stood my fellow comrade."

"He looked at me, and as i did to him. I knew that he had sold our race to this corporation in exchange for their godly acceptance. Above him sat a row of nine NeoPrak, thrones built from obsidian and the bones of our people."

"He said softly, that there was no need for an already understandable explanation as i nodded in grave disappointment."

The Visage Stood up from the middle throne and spoke in plain english.
"A thread of hope can only last as long as the sheers of despair wishes"

"And just like that, i felt my body turn to ash and dust, taking one hard look at my former fellow brother and then...the end"

Rhunyc responds:

Wow, intense story, great though. It's awesome that my art inspired something cool like this. :) Thanks for sharing!

oh you forgot one easter egg.

Clearly the tree in the back is soo realistic no one would think a sudowoodo would me amidst the sprawl of pokemon!
Nearly fooled me too...

Anyways great to see you finish this bad arse piece, i remember the day you opened the stream and you were making the arcanine and the one guy suggested you put derp eyes and a blue scarf.

stellar job on the finished product!

Sabtastic responds:

Blast! He's been discovered!
lol jk. (that's a fantastic Idea..! I wish I'd have thought of that!)

lol There were one or two little extra easter eggs in there too, but I'm not sure if they're really known enough to be "easter eggs". The whole background is based on a level in Pokemon Battle Revolution - the Waterfall Coliseum. Also, no one has seemed to notice this, either, but Flygon is shiny! :O

Haaa...

i see you took my suggestion on the back tat.
great work man, love it.

SmokeryDots responds:

Thank you for det suggest. and for the comment:)

it already got linus, sally, woodstock, and snoops

Xaltotun responds:

Through the trials and tribulations, of humanity, death is the most difficult of tests we face. Death of friends, of family, of people, of the world, or of dreams.
Only those of strong will to pursue peace of mind through acceptance will find not only resolve but also the feeling of giving and/or receiving forgiveness.

In pure perspective, the cycle of the 2 concepts life and death are but the opportunity to experience existence and to recycle that opportunity for another to have the chance.

when realization has occurred, we are that ever closer to understanding... no, we are that ever closer to experiencing existence and appreciating its unfathomable wonder, its splendor, its horror, its beauties, its disgusts, its goods, and its evils.

Why we fear death? because of the known, the unknown, and the pain.
We know death is there, it lingers everywhere, But we don't know what will happen after we die, and what if death is painful?

as long as we come to terms with the ever existing factor and respect life, death will be that much peaceful.

And when death tugs on the clothe upon my shoulders, i will not run, instead i shall turn around and grab hold of his cold iron fingers and walk gracefully into the void and beyond.

take heart N0mad, you are as strong willed as any artist on newground and on this planet, but it is ultimately up to you to decide your own view points on life and death.

Remember, the life of an artist, an animator, a musician, a voice actor, or a creator of sorts is not an easy one, there are many trials and tribulations that follow and YOU have to decide how you will live it.

"it's not what we do in the moment that's important, rather it's what we leave behind for others to be inspired"

good luck fellow artist, cause i'm dealing with the death of my grandmother as of 2 days ago...

TheN0mad responds:

good luck to you too my friend, i wish you the best......we all must marvel at the infinite mystery of it all might as well do it with a smile

There is no right or wrong in art, it simply just is, it is perspective experience within existence made from the audience, or the artist
