Hmm the entirety of the piece feels a bit conflicting.
First you have the character.
He's comprised of more than five colors which don't seem to mesh well.
It feels too saturated and thrown together.
What's putting me off is that he has two color elements below and five above.
The red/white mixture of shirt, heart patch, and tie go mix nicely because its easy on the eyes to follow and look at the design whether or not it has detail.
But the head consisting of blue hair, green eyes, bronze key, glasses and the rainbow patch just makes it look garbled. The cog key, glasses, and multicolored tears seems tossed in for the sake of making the character unique and to differentiate it from the rest.
Don't get me wrong, the shading is fantastic and the hair style flows well but it's the color that puts me in this awkward position of critique.
To him it's how much color are you putting on or take off and how much detail will you add or subtract.
Other than his hair and everything below his neck, this character lacks visual balance and physical depth.
The backround also feels thrown in, but i do love the orange/black mix.
It might be just me, but saturation seems to put me off quite easily when it jumps from color to immediate color.
